Pre-employment Screening

History suggests that an organization is only as effective as its weakest link. Experience suggests that employees at all levels, should they have misrepresented their education, business credentials or personal history could result in serious criminal or civil implications and subsequent financial liability and creditability issues for an organization. Vetting of educational, professional accreditation, previous employment and personal issues, if not already in place, is available through our firm. Our associates will confirm the legitimacy of applicant information including assisting our client with the process involved in obtaining a Criminal Record check through local law enforcement. Our experience indicates that a thorough pre-employment screening process, should it have been completed during the hiring process, in some cases would have eliminated a costly and frustrating investigation and legal process to resolve issues, which could have been avoided. All issues of privacy are strictly adhered to during this process.

Loss Prevention and Internal and External Investigation

We will provide consultation, investigation, covert intelligence and surveillance in support of verifying the legitimacy of suspected internal or external theft, fraud, embezzlement, bribery, kick-backs, industrial espionage, electronic data fraud, conflict of interest, intellectual property issues and general improprieties or contractual violations of your employees and contractors. All evidence and information developed will be provided in a court acceptable manner for your disposition. We will provide full litigation support concerning suspected unsubstantiated civil action relating to incidents of sexual harassment or unlawful dismissal, again providing our results in a court acceptable manner to assist your solicitors or for your disposition.

Employee Integrity Monitoring

Unfortunately information received on occasion from your customers, suggests that certain of your employees are not performing in the best interest of your business or its consumers. Should employee activity of a questionable nature exist, serious credibility, financial and liability issues can result. We will provide periodic or sustained discreet monitoring of suspected employees in the course of their employment to ensure that they are not acting in an illegal or inappropriate manner or that they are in violation of corporate policy or their employment contract. All information and evidence developed will be provided in a court acceptable manner and will be supported by our professionals in hearings, negotiations or court.

WCB / Insurance & Disability Claim Verification

We will provide investigation support including discreet covert photographic video surveillance to assist in verifying the legitimacy of workers' compensation or private insurance disability claims from suspected malingerers. This photographic evidence will document the physical condition, activities and process of recovery of the employee and is self-evident. We will provide all evidence developed in a court acceptable manner and will corroborate our findings through testimony in hearings, negotiations or court.

Substance Abuse Identification, Interdiction and Resolution

Our general manager, in addition to years of drug enforcement and intelligence experience as a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police is a graduate of the Mount Royal College Addiction Studies Diploma Program. We will discreetly assist in determining if suspected substance abuse exists in the work environment and will develop information and evidence to eliminate this use and the resulting financial and liability issues which can devastate a business. Our services can include identification and recommendations establishing a corporate substance abuse policy, identifying individuals violating substance abuse policy, eliminating substance abuse and providing referrals concerning treatment or rehabilitation.

Intrusion Testing

Our professionals will discreetly complete and report on overt and covert intrusion testing of client physical assets based on their specific requirements.

Due Diligence

We will develop information for specific requests including; merger and acquisition examination including personal and corporate background and financial assessment, identification of potential litigants including hostile takeovers and patent product and trademark violation verification.
