In 1990 James Ballendine, our senior associate and a former veteran of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, incorporated Ballendine and Associates Ltd. and secured a Private Investigation Agency license through the Province of Alberta Solicitor General.
While serving with the RCMP drug enforcement section, Mr. Ballendine and his associates were involved in comprehensive criminal investigations and undercover operations in Canada and in the United States of America jointly with the United States Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA). He and his associates received Commendations from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and the United States Department of Justice for outstanding co-ordination, comprehensive investigation, infiltration and apprehension of high profile organized crime figures from both countries.
